Meeting in Lithuania - Small-Scale Partnerships in School Education Project - Student Exchange
Date: 26-30 April - 2026
We organized student exchange events in Lithuania.
The theme of our forth student exchange event: Water is Life
Lithuanian school principal Valerijus Jaglinskis greeted the participants with a short speech. The school students presented a magnificent performance with cultural folk dances.
The students gave short presentations about the environmental impacts of human activities on water in their local areas.

We visited the Vilnius water treatment plant to examine and observe how the water reaches a potable state and how mineral measurements are taken.

One of the greywater systems designed by the partner schools (the Italian school's prototype) was selected, recreated, and tested by mixed groups.
A scientific experiment was conducted to measure water pollution using its light transmittance property.

An environmental lesson was organized on the impact of humans on water resources. In this lesson, students will be able to define their water footprint, identify daily activities that use large amounts of water, explain why water conservation is important, and suggest practical ways to reduce water use at home and at school.
At the end of the lesson, the Kahoot app was used for an online assessment.
